Recycling Used Car Seats or Green for Safety is the project through which the Children’s Car Safety Foundation combines parents’ empowerment for the safe transport of their little passengers with sustainability, caring for the environment we leave for future generations.
Recycling child car seats
As your child grows, their needs change, especially as a passenger. When your little one gets too big for the car seat and safety standards are no longer met, bring the seat to one of your selected Petrom stations. Your old car seat will get a new lease of life and your little passenger will have the chance to travel in a new car seat that you can purchase at a special discount in one of the project’s partner shops.
What to do?
- Plan a visit to the Child Car Safety Centre
- Bring the used seat to the Centre and hand it in to a consultant.
- You receive a discount voucher valid for the purchase of a car seat in the next group from one of the project partner shops.
What is the value of the voucher and how can it be used?
The -10% discount voucher can be used to buy a brand new car seat for your child, according to his or her size.
What happens to the old seat?
It will be refurbished as a piece of furniture.
